What is AI at MillerKnoll?
Nearly eight in ten companies use AI. Nearly eight in ten report no change to their bottom line. Tools everywhere, change nowhere. That gap is the whole reason this program exists, and it is why we are not chasing the tool.
Lesson 1
Here is how we actually think about it.
Value is Capability times Readiness, your own number. A ten in capability is worth almost nothing against a two in readiness. The tool is half the equation. You are the other half.
Use it where you want to use it. We are not assigning AI to your job. We show you what it can do, and you decide where it earns a place in your work.
Our role is to open the door, not to walk you through it. We present the capability. You find the room it belongs in.
How you get value from AI is yours. It will look different for you than for the person beside you, and that is not a problem to solve. A specifier, an assistant, a manufacturing lead, and a designer will each find a different use, and every one of them is right.
Share what you learn and that number multiplies. Tell three peers and your value lands three times. Learning spreads fast when it is shared, and stalls when it is hoarded.

In the way MillerKnoll frames it, what makes AI actually valuable in your work?
Value is Capability × Readiness. A powerful tool counts for almost nothing without your judgment and context, you are the other half of the equation, and that is the half only you can bring.

Name one peer or team who should hear what you learn here. You are going to tell them something by the end of this course.
